This day focuses on the interaction between personal creativity (in work and leadership) and developing a creative culture in the workplace. It is designed to develop confidence in creative problem-solving and in facing challenges in creative ways.
Creativity as a theme can be said to underpin leadership as a whole and the ideas and techniques covered in this day can be used in your professional development.
The workshop has the following sections:
- exploring personal creativity and individual creativity techniques
- creating the climate for creativity
- leading creative problem-solving
- facing challenges in creative ways and inspiring creativity in your team
The preparatory tasks are to identify two problems you want to work on during the workshop. You will be asked to bring a pen portrait of a famous creative person and explore the Honey Bee Network website. This is a website that shares creative and innovative ideas from grassroots innovators.
The follow-up task is to make three changes to increase creativity at work and share this with the online community.
As someone who does not regard themselves as particulary creative I became increasingly aware as the day evolved that in fact I do possess creativity traits
I will now use the range of techniques that I have learnt today to develop the creativity within my team
Currently we are offering this day for £175 or you can book this session as well as another session at our discounted rate of £300 for a limited time only.
